Four things to form the best team

“ You must gather your party before venturing forth”

it’s quite known and funny in its context quotation from a computer game called Baldur’s Gate. This sentence is true in its simplicity. It’s telling us that wherever we’d like to go we need to gather a suitable team to reach the goal.

In this short article, I’ll point out what are, in my opinion, the most important factors to be taken into account when forming a team. So what factors we should take into account?

Right mindset

The most important thing that impacts other factors is our mindset. We have to remember that we need to gather people which will make the best team and not gather the best individuals to make a team. Usually, the first idea to create the best team is to gather the best people, almost always it isn’t the best or even a good solution.

Think of your team more like a sports team. That there are specific positions to be taken and each of these positions need some unique combination of skill and character (and well, in sports also physical parameters of course).
